'Rajanna' tops the chartbusters

Music of Nagarjuna's Rajanna is inching towards the top position on the chart busters. Keeravani's mellifluous numbers struck a chord with the music lovers. Set in early 1950's in the backdrop of Telangana, Rajanna is a story about a young girl Malli who sets out to find her father Rajanna, a freedom fighter.

True to its theme, Keeravani remained largely to melodies and recreated the bygone era's sounds with clear rendition of songs (1. Raa Raa Re Lela, 2. Gijigaadu, 3. Lachuvamma Lachuvamma), brought out child like innocence in some numbers ( Chittiguvva) , upped the emotional quotient in other numbers like Veyyi Veyyi and Okka Kshanam.

Though the album is far from regular style, music is being appreciated by majority of the music listeners and film industry's bigwigs are showering praises on Keeravani for the music. And music stations are playing it constantly.

Produced by Nagarjuna himself, Rajanna is set for grand release in the third week of December. Vel Records is marketing the music albums.
